Compounds of formula (I) <IMAGE> in which: - n is an integer equal to 2 or 3; and - R1 and R2 each denote a C1 to C4 alkyl radical or form, jointly with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, a pyrrolidino, piperidino or hexamethyleneimino radical, are prepared, as well as their pharmacologically acceptable salts. A corresponding acetyl-5-hydroxy-1,4-benzodioxin is condensed with a chloroalkylamine in acetone medium and in the presence of potassium carbonate. These new compounds can be used for the preparation of medicaments for the treatment of circulatory insufficiency and of asthma and have the following pharmacological activities: vasodilatory, antibronchial- constricting, hypotensive and spasmolytic properties.
