PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a clear image at all times by heating a compound of NH4, which isin a solid state at room temperature, so that a preset substance may or may not develop a color by the action of NH3 produced. CONSTITUTION:There is formed on a substrate 4 an image forming layer such as a diazo photosensitive layer which is composed mainly of such a substance as does or does not develop a color by the action of a basic substance. There is separately applied to another layer 4 a developing layer 3 which is composed of an NH4 compound such as (NH4)2S2O3 in a solid state at a room temperature and a high molecular electrolyte of cation type. An original is placed upon the layer 1 so as to form a latent image pattern by the exposure. Then, the layers 1 and 3 under that condition are bought into contact and are made to pass through the heating rolls. Then, an image pattern colored in high fidelity can be obtained. It may also form a mono-type material, in which the layers 1 and 3 are formed on one recording member through the gate and blocking layers which are operative to block the movements of substances such as NH3 at a room temperature. |
