Reusable spray unit for thick liquids - has valve in base of container for recharging with liquid and compressed gas when empty

The spray unit which dispenses a thick liquid or pasty material, uses compressed gas above the liquid. After emptying, the unit can be recharged through a valve (3) in the convex base (2) of the container (1). This valve has a tube (4) attached on the inside, the liquid being charged first and then the gas. The upper end of the tube is in the space (7) above the liquid level (5) to avoid bubbles. The contents are discharged through a separate tube (9) with its end below the liquid. A spray valve (8) is fitted and a side hole (14) in the discharge tube mixes the gas with the liquid to assist in forming a spray.
