The wide angle external driving mirror has a main flat section with a smaller, outer section at a shallow angle, to cover the dead angle. The two sections are mounted on the same pivot and are adjusted by a remote control. The mirror provides all the advantages of a complex multi mirror on a single adjustable mounting. It provides a safer view and its protected by an enclosing cowl.
