摘要 <p>Rotary field electric machine's, large, gas-cooled resistance rotor is of the type used, e.g. for directly driving forging press spindles. The rotor is designed for large rotary-field machines, and high acceleration forces and torque reactions, and uses a centrifugally cast short-circuit winding as well as an axially laminated sheet metal stack with axial cooling slots. The sheet metal stack is pressed during casting pref. by end flanges that at the same time seal the cooling slots by using tensile bars or rods drawn through the cooling slots. The end flanges are enclosed with the tensile bars or rods by the cast material and are completely or partially removed during the mechanical processing of the rotor.</p>
