<p>The instrument panel of an agricultural vehicle has a series of instruments, indicator lamps and switches. For testing purposes, a single plug connects the panel to a test unit which has an adjusting potentiometer and a switch which works in conjunction with a visual indicator to test each component of the instrument panel. The test unit is connected to a power supply. On operation of a switch on the instrument panel, a control light on the test unit lights up to indicate correct functioning. Similarly, a switch on the test unit tests a lamp on the instrument panel.</p> |
