Facilities with tapping points, e.g. a washbasin (5), a toilet with flushing cistern (4), a bidet (6) and a bath tub (3), are arranged on the front side (1) of a wall (2) and are connected to branch lines (16) which run on the rear side (11) of the wall (2) and are connected there, by means of a branch valve (13), to a main line. The branch valve (13) has three connection stubs, lying in a plane parallel to the wall (2), and a spindle guide which is perpendicular thereto, is arranged in a through-opening of the wall (2) and is intended for the spindle which can be actuated on the front side (1) of the wall. Two connection stubs of the branch valve (13) are aligned with each other and are located in the main line. A distributing pipe (15) parallel to the wall (2) and having connections, parallel to the wall (2) and intended for the branch lines, is connected to the third connection stub. The facilities (3, 4, 5, 6) are connected to the branch lines (16) by means of direct connection pipe pieces (8) which are angled off on the rear side (11) of the wall (2). In this system, the main line and all the branch lines (16) run directly on the rear side (11) of the wall (2) without parts of the system projecting beyond these lines to any great extent. This system occupies only a very narrow space on the rear side (11) of the wall (2). <IMAGE>
