<p>The milling wheel plate is connected with annular disc (3) by twelve webs (2). Every two webs adjacent in peripheral direction are provided with common lateral flanges which rest against the rims (7) of the hub, and annular discs (3) to eliminate occurring cracks on the web flanges. Between the flanges (4) of the hub, and discs (3) armour plates (5) are fitted. Similarly between webs the flanges are fitted with armour plates (6). This arrangement ensures that the occurring centrifugal forces are distributed on a larger bearing surface between the web flanges and the rims of the disc and hub plates.</p> |
