PURPOSE:To enable an operation for derectly detecting a fault, by means of operating a fault detection with a digital divice used. CONSTITUTION:A microomputer COMP is inputted, through an analog-digital converter A/D, a signal in the interior of device in addition to a signal of input to and output from controllers for an automctic voltage regulator AVR, underexcitation limiter UEL, automatic follow-up device AFU, manual voltage regulator DC- AVR, etc., processing an operation, by using an inpur signal of controller or element that constitutes the controller, to likely provide an operational function the same as the operational function of controller or element. With a reference value, obtained obtained by this processing of operation as made in the above, compared with an output signal of the controller or the element, the fault detection will be operated. |
