PURPOSE:To eliminate attachment of any for lamp in a four-light system head light throgh a proper light distribution obtained simply by forming a diffusion area on the upper half of a pair of lens totally employing a double filament. CONSTITUTION:In a bulb 2 provided inside a reflector 1 formed in a paraboloid of revolution, a filament 3 for running is arranged in the proximity of the reflector 1 with an auxiliary filament 4 positioned in front thereof. At the tip of the bulb is provided a coated section 5 for shielding the direct light from the filament 4 and a shade body 6 for cutting the light running downward from the auxili ary filament 4. A lens 7 has a horizontal diffusion section formed on the upper half area where the downward reflected light enters from the auxiliary filament 4. When the auxiliary filament 4 turns on, the light is reflected down on the upper half area of the reflector 1. The downward light is diffused horizontally at the diffusion section 7A on the upper half area of the lens, horizontally expanding below the horizontal includint the optical axis. In this manner, a distribution for a fog lamp is made possible. |
