PURPOSE:To effectively prevent strain from being caused at a time of drying and to obtain the title jig capable of reduction of man-hours at high yield by constituting this jig so that a molded ceramic body having a honeycomb shape is held only by both the high-strength external wall part and center thereof. CONSTITUTION:A jig 5 for drying a molded ceramic body is constituted of an outer peripheral projecting part 1 allowed to abut against the external wall part 18 of the molded ceramic body 11 having a honeycomb structure to be held, a projecting central part 2 allowed to abut against the hub part 17 of the molded body 11 and a plurality of air supplying holes 4 provided to the recessed 3 formed between the projecting parts 1, 2. On the other hand, the molded body 11 has the through-hole 12 group of two inner and outer rows arranged on a concentric circle and is formed into a cylindrical shape as a whole and the through-holes 12 are opened in both end faces of the axial direction thereof. The jig 5 is constituted so that the molded body 11 is held only by the high-strength external wall part 18 and the center part thereof. Therefore contact resistance of the molded body 11 and the jig 5 is reduced and deformation of the end parts caused by strain can be prevented without providing a projecting part thereto. |
