<p>PURPOSE:A decorative laminate having excellent dissign and glossy parts and matte parts matched with the figure on the surface, manufactured by hot-pressing a sheet of paper, which is obtained by impregnating a sheet of printed paper having figures formed by an ink on the base paper having good permeability with a thermosetting resin, to s substrate. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of printed paper is prepared by forming figures consisting of the ordinary ink 2 and figures consisting of the ink 3 having a pH more acidic than the ordinary ink and figures consisting of the ink 4 having a pH more basic than the ordinary ink on a sheet of the base paper 1 having improved permeability. The printed paper is impregnated with a thermosetting resin whose curing is accelerated by an acid curing agent, e.g. a rapid-setting melamine resin, etc. to give a sheet of impregnated paper, which is hot-pressed to the substrate 5, e.g. plywood, particle board, etc. by a hot press, etc. Titanium paper, tissue paper, etc. consisting of sulfite pulp, kraft pulp, etc. may be cited as the base paper having improved permeability.</p> |
