PURPOSE:To obtain high transfer density by incorporating one or more kind of a specific compound in an image receiving layer and the layer adjacent to said layer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer image receiving material wherein an image receiving layer for a heat transfer dye is provided on a support, one or more kind of a compound represented by formula I or II is contained in the image receiving layer and the layer adjacent thereto. In the formula I, R1 is a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group. In the case of the heterocyclic group, the carbon atom in said ring becomes a bonding region. In the formulae I, II, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are a hydrogen atom or a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group. R2 and R3, R4 and R5, and R6 and R7 may be respectively connected to form a ring. |
