PURPOSE:To prevent excessive overcharging in the state where the current consumption of the watch has been reduced by providing a switching means which so functions as to induce a change in the current consumption of the watch in correspondence to the operation of an external operatng member. CONSTITUTION:When a switch S is closed by an external operating member such as winding crown, etc., the logic level of terminal 7 becomes H, and transistors 11, 13 go OFF. As a result, the supply of power surce to an oscillation circuit 1 is cut off and the watch is put in a power saving state and at the same time this also turnes out that the charging line from solar batteries 8 to a battery 12 for power source is cut off, thus the state of supplying excessive charge quantity to the battery 12 for power source may be prevented. |
