PURPOSE:To reduce a rate of change in electrostatic capacity to temperature and dependency of dielectric loss on voltage, and to make a relative dielectric constant not less than 9000 for a composition defined as (Ba1-xCax)m(Ti1-yZry)O3 by mixing a specified oxide with an elementary composition of a compositional range defined as 0<=x<=0.12, 0.10<=y<=0.30, 0.998<=m<=1.012. CONSTITUTION:When an elementary composition is described by a composition defined as (Ba1-xCax)m(Ti1-yZry)O3, a condition determined as x=0-0.12mol%, y=0.10-0.30mol%, m=0.998-1.012 is satisfied. To a 100 weight part of elementary composition, at least one kind of rare earth oxide among cerium dioxide(CeO2) or other rare earth oxides (Nd2O3, Sm2O3, La2O3, Dy2O3, Y2O3) is added by 0.02 to 1.5wt.%, along with not more than 1.00wt.% of magnesium oxide(MgO). A composition whose relative dielectric constant is not less than 9000 is obtained with small dependency of dielectric loss on voltage as well as excellent temperature characteristic of electrostatic capacity. |
