<p>PURPOSE:To provide the novel titled process capable of forming easily and rapidly the covering layer preventing leakage over a long period throughout the length even in the case of a bent pipe, by foaming, then injecting a sealer conventionally used in the titled process, to cover the entire inner surface. CONSTITUTION:As an example, a gas pipe 1 of a small diameter in stalled in an interior is connected with a foam generator 4 comprising a reservoir 4A for a liquid sealer S and a pressurized air transferring lower 4B. At first, a bulb Ga being kept the off-state, bulbs 6b and 6C are opened to bring the blower 4B to operation, transferring a pressurized air to the inner bottom of the reservoir 4A to force the sealer S to foam, followed by feeding thus foamed sealer into the gas pipe 1 through a feed pipe 5'. When the foamed sealer S reaches a container 8, the blower operation is stopped; then making the bulb 6c into the off-state an the bulb 6a on-state to bring the blower 4B to operation again to transfer and excess of the foamed sealer S to the container 8, followed by drying the sealer S' covering the inner sufface of the pipe 1 for a given period to accomplish forming the objective layer.</p> |
