Continuous dewatering of yarn - by treatment of single thread (bundle)

Yarn dewwatering is effected by continuously centrifuging a single moving thread or bundle of threads. Continuous dewatering of the yarn enables it to be passed on directly for further treatment without preparing skeins or spools and without loading or unloading a centrifuge. Much more rapid spinning-off of fluid is achieved utilising a single thread or thin bundle and with less centrifugal force than is the case with firmly packed multilayer bobbins. Pref. spinning-off is done while the yarn is passing through a winding machine.
