1531958 Regenerating oxidation catalysts E I DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 19 April 1977 [20 April 1976] 16126/77 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] An oxidation catalyst containing K, Co, Ni, Fe, Bi, P, Mo and oxygen on a support is regenerated by impregnation with Bi and Mo and calcining. A catalyst where A=alkali metal, rare earth metal, Ta, Nb, B=Ni or Co, C=P or As, a, c=0-3, b=0.1-20, d=0.1-8, e=0.1-6, f=8-16 is regenerated by impregnation with Mo and Bi, separating any unabsorbed Mo and Bi and calcining. An ammoxidation catalyst where g-m=0.05-0.10, 4.0-5.0, 2.0-3.0, 2.5-3.5, 0.8-1.2, 0.1-1.0, 10.8-13.2 respectively, where the catalyst has lost 0.4-1.2 moles Mo by ammoxidation, is regenerated by impregnation with an aqueous solution comprising Bi and Mo species until 1.5 wt % Mo and 0.56 wt % Bi is incorporated onto the surface, separating any unabsorbed solution and calcining. |
