<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject film excellent in printability propared by adding high molecular weight polyethylene glycol to polyesters consition essentially of ethylene terephthalate to form a two-dimensionally drawn film. CONSTITUTION:To polyesters containing more than 80 % by weight of polyethylene phtalate there is added 0.5 to 10 % by weight of polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 8000to 200000 to form a two-dimensionally orientated film of a density of 1,390 to 1,410 g/cm<3>. A print ink layer containing a cellulose derivative as a binder is applied on a part or the full surface of the film. This film has a wetting angle with water in the range of from 25 to 55 deg., and is excellent in printability.</p> |
