<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method or treating organic waste water by treating the organic waste water by way of adsorption in use of fluidized bed type active carbon layer, applying bioligical treatment ot the same, and then applying re-adsorption treatment with travelling bed type active carbon layer, wherein active carbon adsorbing capacity is fully utilized by reusing active carbon of the travelling bed in the fluidized bed and regenerating the active carbon of the fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION:Liquid obtained by filtration of sewerage, urinary water or others is introduced into a fluidized bed type adsorption tower, where high-concentration organic matters having a relatively large molecular weight are adsorbed by active carbon. Liquid after treatment in the adsorption tower is introduced into an activated sludge tank for applying biological tretment to the same. On the other hand, supernatant liquid in the sedimentation tank is introduced into an ascending flow type travelling-bed adsorption tower, where low-concentration organic matters having a relatively small molecular weight are removed by way of adsorption. Since active carbon of the travelling bed after use has still an ability to adsorb the high- concentration organic matters, it is used in the fluidized bed type adsorption tower, and active carbon after use in this tower is discharged as inactive carbon and sent to regenerating unit.</p> |
