PREPARATION OF LLARGININE BY FERMENTATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare L-arginine by the cultivation of bacteria belonging to Brevibacterium genus. CONSTITUTION:Bacteria belonging to Brevibacterium genus, resistant to 2-thiazole alanine, demanding L-histidine, L-proline, L-threonine, L-isoleucine, L-methionine, or L-tryptophane, and producing L-arginine, e.g. Brevibacterium flavum AJ 11169 (FERM-P No.4161), are inoculated in a nutrient medium, and L-arginine is separated from the medium after cultivation.
