Pump diaphragms are made of non-electronic flexible material injection-moulded to obtain an annular border linked via a relatively thin walled zone to a relatively stiff central region connected to a plunger. The central zone may be relatively thick or heavily ribbed or may incorporate reinforcing elements. Diaphragms are esp. suitable for pumps operating at high frequencies and/or pressures and/or temps. (e.g. >=130 degrees C.), e.g. petrol pumps, vacuum pumps.
