PURPOSE:To simultaneously produce a plurality of hard copies in a single scanning operation of an original by providing a plurality of writing sections. CONSTITUTION:A reading section 1 reads out the optical image signals S1, which are detected by scanning an original with an optical system, and converts them into electric image signals S2. A signal treating section 2 amplifies the image signals S2 so that they may be processed in a sample AND holding operation or in a converting operation into logic signals. Writing drive sections 3(31 to 3m) reform the processed electric signals such that they are suitable for subsequent writing sections 4(41 to 4n) so as to generate their drive signals. A control section 5 partly controls the operations of the components 1 to 3 in accordance with the outside control signals S3 following the command of an operator and partly monitors the operating conditions of the components 1 to 3 so that the control may be performed to maintain the most proper condition at all times. |
