PURPOSE:To secure the large current capacity for the superconductive magnetic device by storing the power lead of the coil into the independent cooling bath, and also to increase the storage space of the coil and the degree of freedom of the coil structure as well as to enhance reliability. CONSTITUTION:Superconductive coil 16 and liquid helium 15 are stored in cryostat 11, and power lead 23 of coil 16 is then stored into independent cold box 18 linked to cryostat 11 along with liquid helium 22. Thus, lead 23 is cooled down sufficiently by helium 22, and furthermore lead 23 is formed into a coil shape so that it can be heat-exchanged easily with the evaporated helium gas with an increased effective length. As a result, the heat intrustion into coil 16 can be prevented assuredly, thus attaining the expected purpose. |
