<p>Packaging sheaths for small bottles of e.g. perfume are moulded in one piece from sheet material, pref. polypropylene, to form a collar which will fit over the neck of the bottle and rest on the shoulders of the bottle. The collar is flanked with concave tabs which can pivot about an integral hinge to swing down and clip to the base of the bottle to enclose its sides. The one-piece pack is readily fitted to the appropriate bottle manually or automatically. Opt. the rim of the base of the bottle is grooved to accept a snap-fit lip on the end of the cover. The cover may be transparent or opaque, opt. is decorated with printing, metallisation, etc.</p> |
