PURPOSE:To make it possible to circulate and reuse a developing agent by prividing a developing carriage passage filter, which is operative to separate the developing agent and other substance, so that is may be positioned at the cleaning section other than the passage when not in the conveying operation so as to remove the substances adhered to the filter. CONSTITUTION:A mesh filter member 14 is arranged in a passage 13 for a residual toner, which is interposed between the conveying screen 1 of cleaning means 10 for a photosensitive element 1 and developing means. The filter member 14 has such a mesh as to admit the toner particles to be circulated to the developing means 5, but to filter such a mixture of a large size as adhersely influences deterioration in image quality. The developing agent having passed through the filter member 14 is carried through a connecting member 15 by the developing means 5 for reuse. On the other hand, the mixture trapped by the filter member 14 is collected at a cleaming section 16 by the movement of the filter member 14 in the direction of arrow and is sucked by sucking means such as a blower so that they may be collected at a mixture collecting section 19. |
