<p>Pressure-tight location of a casting ladle inside a pressure chamber is ensured by having a conically-shaped protruding stopper nozzle in the bottom of the ladle which locates in a conically-shaped outlet in the bottom of the vessel. Rough positioning of the ladle is achieved by guides on the outside which locate round lugs on the base of the chamber. Final accurate positioning is by means of driven rolls on which the ladle rests.</p> |
