PURPOSE:To prevent sleeve ghost and the lowering of density at the time of endurable use by forming a developing sleeve of a conductive resin material obtained by blending carbon fiber and making the carbon fiber protrude from the surface of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The developing sleeve 1 is formed of the composite material containing at least synthetic resin and the carbon fiber and at least a part of the carbon fiber is made to protrude from the surface. As a result, the deterioration of an image such as the sleeve ghost and the lowering of the density, etc., at the time of endurance use can be drastically reduced by giving proper roughness to the surface of the sleeve 1. It is desirable that the surface roughness of the sleeve 1 is set within 3-18mum of the average roughness of ten points and 0.6-3.0mum of the average roughness of a center line by grinding the surface of the sleeve 1. |
