PURPOSE:To ensure and accurate meteorological forecast by grasping an accurate meteorological conditions over a wide range through composition of the meteorological conditions at the same alitude via plural units of radars which grow multiple equivalent beams in the elevation angle direction. CONSTITUTION:Radar unit 1 and 2 can extract the target information of a constant altitude by applying different distance gates to equivalent multiple beams 11-26 for each elevation angle within the vertical plane. Each of these output are composed via signal composer 3. Thus, composer 3 composes the meteorological target information of a fixed altitude even with the information given from plural units of radar radars, so the meteorological conditions can be obtained for the regions covering each meteorological radar site. Furthermore, a radar network doubling the aircraft control and the meteorological observation can be formed nationwide by adding the meteorological signal process part comprising the equi-echo unit, the PI gate circuit, the gate growing circuit and others to the aircraft controlling radar. |
