Particle mixt. granular curve determining system - uses network of photodiodes, and convergent optical system producing diffraction images

The system has a monochromatic light beam generator, a transparent container for holding a sample mixt. in the light beam path, and a convergent optical system which forms in its focal plane a diffraction image of the mixt. An image exploration system is provided which includes a photoelectric receiver. The image exploration system also includes lighting for the photosensitive surface. The photoelectric receiver has a network of photodiodes whose receiver surfaces include n zones of identical form to those of the image portions. The electrical outputs of the photodiodes situated in each zone are connected to a circuit having two output terminals. The receiver has also an electrical current source one pole of which is connected to a terminal of each zone.
