Electrical line break monitor - has relay switching to monitoring stage via rectifiers and inductance

A switching circuit is provided to maintain a check on the condition of two conductors connecting monitoring stages. The two conductors connect to one monitoring stage with switching relay over rectifiers and an inductance. A second relay connects over an inductance with one line. The relay contacts are coupled to indicator points. A similar arrangement is used for the second monitoring unit. In the event of a break in one wire, one indicator produces a signal. A similar indication is produced for a break in the other line.
