摘要 <p>The fuel is treated with an additive which combines with the free O2. It pref. is added after combustion has started. In particular, normal fuel is injected into the centre at the highest temp. The method is used partic. with diesel engines. The equipment has an injection pump plunger with a groove, which stops short on extending beyond the edge of the leading edge over the return opening in the injection procedure. so that it is completed with a very small amt. re-injected. re-injection must not be like dripping but must be forcible, to attain combustion in the core at the increased pressure already reached in the cylinder. The very small amt. used is than ensuring that NOx formation is near the permissible limit. An alternative arrangement used a cma stopping short at the apex with the effect of pressure, to re-inject a small amt. with the protuberance. The plunger dia. or its stroke about the injection shutter is enlarged by the groove.</p>
