The support arm with tie plate (1) is for hanging heavy loads, such as wheels, tyres, tools and such like. The tie plate (1) has cut-out corners (1a) and a central hole (1b) for a single fixture. That end of the support arm which faces the tie plate has a bend, and fits through one of the cut-out corners (1a). The support arm bends into roughly the same shape as the tie plate. On the free edges of the sides of the tie plate (1c) are claw-like projections (1d). That part at least of the support arm which is inside the tie plate has a slightly larger cross section than the vertical clearance of the plate (1).
