<p>The signals are transmitted by bunching several digital signals of lower hierarchic order and of the same bit rate, with conversion into phase shift keyed signals. Digital signals (a1, b1, a2, b2) of a lower order are precoded, so that precoded digital signals (alpha 1, alpha 1; beta 1, beta 2) are produced. Then a pair of such signals (alpha 1, alpha 2; beta 1, beta 2) are combined in bunched signals (A, B) with a higher bit rate, multiple phase shift keyed and combined into a signal to be transmitted. At the receiving end they are reconverted to punched signals (A, B) by time delay demodulation, signals (A, B) are scanned by pulse trains with shorter pulse width, thus recovering the lower order signals (a1, a2, b1, b2). Then individual pulses are widened and converted into the NRZ form suitable for further processing.</p> |
