PURPOSE:To promote separation and ascension of bubbles by putting thereof together so as to be enlarged in diameter through colosion and turbulenece caused in a curved passage comprising a plurality of upward and downward streams formed by faffles provided side by side in the passage to the pump from the upward passage. CONSTITUTION:Baffles are arranged at the right angle to the direction of the flow in an overflow section from the upper portion of the upward passage B to a tank 6b to form a zig zag passage F comprising upward and downward stream. The cross-sectin area of the upward stream is made larger than that of the downward stream so that the upward flow of the liquid in the curved passage F moves at a higher velocity than the downward flow thereof. In this manner, the liquid is caused to come into colision with the baffles in such a manner that the bubbles combine together with each other. Accordingly, the bubbles can be enlarged in diameter, eventually led to be broken, ascending away from the liquid while the higher velocity of the upward stream promotes the deairing. |
