<p>A hair removal device operates with high-frequency electrical energy comprises a part of conductive arms (32, 50) having confronting surface portions (36, 56) between which a hair can be gripped. Insulating material (34, 52) covers all surfaces of the arms except the grippng portions, and the latter are encircled by the insulating layers in order to prevent sideways radiation of energy towards the skin. The gripping portions are toothed, or otherwise roughened. The arms may be mounted in a housing and closed by a push-button which also activates the energy source.</p> |
