Circular saw tooth mounting - has radial grooves in sides of disc to receive forked ends of tooth supports which are locked by screws

The circular saw consists of a disc (12). Fork shaped mounts (14) are placed over the edge of the disc against the edges of teeth cut into the disc. Throw-away cutter bits (40) are placed on the mounts (14) and are each secured in position by a single screw. To locate the mounts, radial grooves are machined in the sides of the disc. The forked ends of the tooth mounts fit into these grooves in which they are secured with pins (30).
