<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dead space-free high performance multistage spray tower is provided with a pressure spray nozzle in the top and second spray chamber and a gravity spray nozzle for jetting a liquid received into a collector around each spray chamber into the everyother obe stage chamber. CONSTITUTION:A gas is introduced into a spray tower main body 11 from the lower part 8 thereof and ascends through a distributer 15. A liquid is sprayed into the gas from the top of the tower and spray nozzles 12 and 12' underthereof with the pump pressure. The liquid sprayed from the nozzle 12 is recovered by a liquid collector 14 around the nozzle 12' and introduced into a gravity spray nozzle 13, which is located as the third stage from the top, through an outer pipe 17 for respraying into the gas. The liquid from the nozzle 12' is sprayed from a nozzle 13' again by gravity through a collector 14'. The collectors 14 and 14' are so shaped as to serve as a gas baffle, concurrently.</p> |
