<p>A livestock carrier is disclosed which has a substantially rectangular main deck, and side members defining with the main deck a livestock space, a drinking water store and a feed store automatically supplying respective outlets in the livestock space. A base below the main deck defines therewith a sewage space with which the livestock space is adapted to be in continuous communication. A roof is supported over the main deck and side members, and at least one side of the carrier is provided with means permitting ingress to and egress from the livestock space for the livestock. Preferably, there is provided a removable deck between the main deck and the roof which is adapted in use to divide the livestock space into two superposed sections.</p> |
