The disclosure relates to a water closet whose discharge outlet (7) is connected by the intermediary of a releasable coupling to a receptacle (14) of a certain maximum volume, and whose flushing nozzles (3) are connected to a portion-dispensing device (4,5) which is disposed, on actuation, to supply a certain portion of flushing water to the flushing nozzles, this portion being a given fraction of the maximum volume of the receptacle. In order to avoid overfilling of the receptacle (14), a meter (34) may be set at zero by means of a switch (18,19), switchable between two positions, on switching of the switch between its two positions, and is disposed to measure operation of the water closet up to a certain limit, and the zeroising switch (18,19), a manually operable flushing switch (17), the dispensing device (4,5) and the quantity meter (34) are connected to electrical regulator means (36,40,44) which, on closing of the flushing switch, actuate the dispensing device and quantity meter only when the zeroising switch is in its one position and until the quantity meter is at said limit. <IMAGE> |
