<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gate clamping apparatus for dump truck, which is cpable of opening the lower portion of the tail gate when dumping the rear body, but capable of opening and closing the tail gate and side gates independently in cases other than the above, and which is arranged such that any portion is not be projected to the floor surface of the rear body when opening these gates. CONSTITUTION:When rear body 1 is tilted for unloading cargo and stopper pawl 14 of clamping means 16 is unlocked, metal piece 13 is released and tail gate 9 is suspended by upper stopper metal 10 on post 5, whereby it is enabled to discharge cargo from the lower portion of the gate 9. When clamping means 16 is locked and shaft 12 is released from the upper stopper metal 10, gate 9 is turned from upward to rearward around the metal piece 13 held between said pawl 14 and retainer member 15, whereby rear portion of the body 1 is opened. On the other hand, when engagement of retainer metal 11 with post 5 is released, side gate 3 is turned around hinge 4 so that side portion of the body 1 is opened. Thus, side gates 3 are opened and closed independently of the tail gate 9.</p> |
