PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for stopping vehicle at a fixed position, in which a position indicating means is attached to a vehicle, and a detecting means and a control circuit for detecting the stop position of the vehicle and correcting the vehicle position are provided at the stop position along the track, whereby it is enabled to stop the vehicle at the fixed or predetermined stop position accurately with simple control. CONSTITUTION:Position indicating means consists of a pair of shield plates 9 attached to the bottom surface of vehicle 1, and the vehicle is detected by photoelectric switches 10 which are turned ON when flux of light is interrupted by the plates 9. Brake 6 is acted when a first signal is given from signal selecting circuit 12 which selectively detects ON and OFF of a certain photoelectric switch 10, and at the same time, current supply to motor 5 is interrupted in response to the signal from stop circuit 13. However, in response to the correction signal from signal detecting circuit 14, motor 5 is driven at an extremely low speed by the function of voltage generating circuits 15, 16, whereby vehicle 1 is moved to a required position and stopped. |
