For the purpose of welding all kinds of work in an essentially horizontal attitude the housing, which can be made of steel or light metal sheets or impact resistant plastics material, has a polyhedral configuration and consists of >=7 sides whose angles of inclination relative to the plane of the rotary table vary between 0 and 135 degrees, all angles being different.
