Spinning jet for the extrusion of synthetic filaments has an outlet in the form of a gap in an open multi-lateral profile, with >=1 straight side. The profile of the opening gap has >=1 additional section lying vertically to the straight section. The structure of the jet profile modifies the extruded filament so that it has all the characteristics of natural wool, with low thermal conductivity, stable bulked crimping, hygienic performance such as water absorbtion with a capillary structure and fluid release.
