<p>The packing unit is used for securing the panels to a supporting pallet. It has a supporting surface (4) of hard plastics foam and with a corrugated profile (5) fitting against that of the panel. This surface can be of the same length as the panel, and accommodated on a single pallet, or alternatively two, there being a gap between them for a forklift arm. Where the surface is in two parts, these can be joined by two strips protecting the edges. There can be a covering layer also, the stack of panels being clamped between them.</p> |
