PURPOSE:To provide a simple and economical control system for AC elevator which is driven by a two-speed induction motor having high-speed and low-speed windings, which can save power consumption and is capable of reducing elevator speed continuously to zero. CONSTITUTION:When elevator operating circuit is established for elevator which is equipped with a pole change type induction moter IM having high-speed and low- speed windings, UP contactor U and deceleration instructing relay SLD are both energized, whereby high-speed operation contactor H is energized. Thereupon, voltage is impressed on the high-speed winding of motor IM via SCR. Subsequently, when elevator comes near to the destination floor and deceleration instruction is given, said SLD and contactor H are both de-energized and low-speed operation contactor L is energized, whereby winding of the motor IM is switched to the low- speed side. When the elevaror is further decelerated near to low-speed synchronous speed, characteristics of speed controlling mode is reversed. |
