Aqueous solutions of cleaning agents contain at least 5% by weight of electrolyte and also an alkylglycol sulphate of the formula R-O-CH2-CH2-O-SO3M in which R denotes an alkyl radical having 3 to 7 carbon atoms and M denotes Na or K, and optionally from 0.1 to 7% by weight of a surface active agent. The solutions are principally used as industrial cleaners. The sulphates replace conventional hydrotropes, for high electrolyte concentrations. |
