The zero voltage draft compensating circuit has an amplifier output connected periodically to a drift-free differentiator (6) via a switch (5). This switch is actuated by a timing generator (16) controlled by the control element (15). The differentiator output is switched to a counter (9) with a definite response threshold. The counter output is connected to the input of a D/A converter (10). This is linked to an electrical measuring unit (1) and transmits currents dependent on the counter state and effecting compensation.
