Unit cartridge suitable for use in a borehole comprising in combination a tamping cartridge of blasting explosive composition and a rigid cartridge of blasting explosive composition. The tamping cartridge may be sheathed in pliant or water-impervious material and may expand or rupture to fill the cross-section of the borehole. For use with slurries of AN/FO and cartridges 600 mm in length. |
