The grain dryer and grinder has a hot air supply pipe (1) connected to a pulverising mill (2) and a fine grinding mill (3). The pulveriser has an inlet (15) connected by a line (18) to a sifter (6) connected to a cyclone (11), and its outlet connected by a parallel line (5) to the sifter. The latter line is also connected at a junction (4) to the output of the fine grinder (3). A horizontal belt conveyor (21) discharges into a line (19) connected to the inlet line (18) for the pulveriser. This line (19) incorporates a gas tight seal (2), and a similar seal is also incorporated in the line (18) immediately preceding the pulveriser input (15). The hot air discharge tube has a alternative discharge lines (16,17) each with a control valve (16a,17a). One branch (17) connects to theline (18) between the two seals, the other (16) is connected to the pulveriser input (15). |
